  Home Project Approval

The following is an excerpt from the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions, (CC&R), Article IV Architectural Control Committee.  The paragraph below outlines the kind of home projects that require approval from the Abbey Road Architectural Control Committee (ACC).

No building, fence, wall or other structure shall be commenced, erected or maintained upon The Properties, nor shall any exterior addition to or change or alteration therein be made until the plans and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape, height, materials, and location of the same have been submitted to and approved in writing as to harmony of external design and location in relation to surrounding structures and topography by the Board of Directors of the Association, or by an Architectural Control Committee composed of three (3) or more representatives appointed by the Board.

To submit a request for approval, send e-mail to the board at board/at/abbeyroadhoa/adot/org. Click on the previous link then edit the e-mail address in the TO field, replace /at/ with the '@' sign, replace /adot/ with a '.' so that the e-mail address resembles someone@abbeyroadhoa.org

For certain projects, a permit from the City of Redmond may be required. Contact the City of Redmond Permit Center directly to obtain the necessary permits.

Approval from the ACC does not replace any permits required by the City of Redmond. A permit obtained from the City of Redmond does not constitute approval by the ACC. Please make certain that you have ACC approval and the proper City of Redmond permits for your project.
